Project Overview

This project is a 2-year journey of creating 3 websites: Husky Communications, Inspire&Influence, & NUMedia. It was all started as an experiential learning summer program for students to develop a virtual PR agency website. The project expands throughout the year and attracted students from different programs to collaborate. Last year, this project was able to receive funding from the university and grow the project to reach other Northeastern campuses outside Boston.

Today, a fully-recognized graduate organization: Husky Communicators has been established to manage these 3 websites as well as their growing social channels: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The vision of this organization is to serve as an experiential learning platform for Northeastern students in simulating the real-world digital agencies.

Husky Communications

Husky communications is a student-initiated public relations agency who work on various projects for real-life clients for a span of 6 months during the course of the study.

The website serves as a platform to showcase students projects and tool to outreach .

Inspire&Influence

Here, College of Professional Studies students share their experiential and research solutions  for a rapidly growing network of organizational partners.

The site aims to inspire and influence students by showcasing examples of their outstanding work.

NUMedia

NUMedia is a start-up media venture run by NU students that discovers and captures stories from across the the global university network and develops innovative ways to deliver them.

The site works as a one-stop-shop for their audiences to find different channels and get updates of the latest content.
